Gallatin County Community Early Childhood System Needs Assessment
The ECCC completed a community-wide needs assessment in 2013. Gallatin County and the surrounding region are home to hundreds of providers, programs and organizations that provide critical services to families with young children. More than 70 early-childhood professionals and 150 families provided the Council with detailed information in six critical outcome areas: Family Support; Parent Education; Early Care and Education; Development, Behavior and Mental Health; Medical Care and Health Outcomes; and Economic Self Sufficiency. Though these groups are working diligently to help families build strong foundations for success, the ECCC Needs Assessment revealed gaps.
