Enrichment activities for children don’t have to be expensive in fact, many are FREE. The Bozeman area offers a vast array of fun for you and your child to experience. Bozeman Public Library
The Library is free and open to all. We welcome families and offer weekly infant programs, story times, and afternoon programs. Our Children’s Room provides relaxed play time for kids of all ages, with wooden blocks, puzzles, train, computers and other activities. Call 582-2404 for all our programs.
Children’s Museum of Bozeman
The Children’s Museum of Bozeman provides hands-on exhibits and enriching programs that spark imagination, foster curiosity, and promote self-confidence. Daily educational programs, monthly family science days, and summer science day camps allow children and families to creatively explore principles of science, engineering and technology throughout the year.
Museum of the Rockies
Belgrade Community Library lends books, DVDs and audio for children of all ages. In addition to regular story times, the library offers free family events including LEGO club, game nights, summer reading and more. A play space is available during all open hours for block building and other imaginative play.
Gallatin Valley YMCA
At the Y we are committed to strengthening communities. Every day, we work side by side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to participate in Y programs focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The YMCA have early learning programs, school age programming, and sports and recreation programs.
“Creating community through people, parks and programs!” The Bozeman Parks & Recreation department offers a wide range of programs from preschool classes, youth camps specializing in outdoor exploring, art, and sports, and adult programs specializing in arts, active aging movement classes, Pickin’ in the Park music series, and outdoor adventuring.
